About Paul Tires
Located at 4102 Birney Ave, Scranton, PA 18507, Paul Tires operates as a tire shop serving Scranton in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

Scranton is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Scranton is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The guys at Paul Tires were the best. They do the final tighten with a torque wrench. Very Professional. Donβt ever let anyone tighten your lugs with an impact wrench. When you get a flat you canβt take them off with the tire iron!!!!! Itβs a crime. At Paul Tires they do it right.

Iβve been coming here since I was a kid. My father knew Paul and so I come here for all my tires. I always get the best deal and the best treatment from the owner. I hope he stays in business for many more years bc itβs close, very fast, and as inexpensive as you can find for tires. If your in need of tires do not go anywhere else and tell Paul you read my review.

Paul's a very nice guy. Appreciated his upfrontness. Paid $457.00 for new tires and was told 25,000. Well after about 3000 miles one tire got a bubble and had to be replaced, and the other was bald and he blamed it on my car being off balance, though it never happened before. He said he would replace my one tire for me but 3 days later he said still nothing, keep trying.Went to a mechanic and was told they were not good tires, last time here.

Paul fixed 2 flats for me so when I needed new tires I didn't hesitate to go to him. Service is fast and the price he gave me for tires for my CRV was really good. Plus he's a nice guy! Highly recommend.
